Honestly out of the annual issue i expected more. Of course it was good to see how much compassion Diana is holding and how she was impacted by her temporary transformation into Medusa. And it was good to see her try to fix real Medusa’s curse after feeling how torturous this form was. But it could’ve been done better

Especially in a way they incorporated Athena. It is truly a great fumble to not give Athena a real true bad action and pretend that she hadn’t cursed Medusa and it was just misinterpretation and lies. She is a greek goddess for Pete’s sake, gods cursing people on whim is kinda the main thing of greek myphos

But the moment then Diana looks Medusa in her eyes and Medusa cries from finally seeing somebody’s living face after thousands of years of her torturous existence. I almost had cried by myself.
